Main Street Restaurant in Tupper Lake

The food was delicious, and our waitress was phenomenal. I will stop here again when I vacation here in the future.

They were very busy earlier,but when we got there we had no issue getting a table. The dinner was very good and our waitress was very nice. It is a nice relaxing casual place. Nice menu. Gave 4 stars because they were out of several items I ordered. But they were very good about getting something I like

We were out for a late dinner, we pulled into the parking lot to see if they were open just just as the owner was closing. He waved us in and said Come on in we will feed you. The food and service was AMAZING! Give them a try, I think you will be glad you did.

Good food and drinks

First visit and a couple of years and she used to be a favorite spot of my family's I brought my dad here for my his birthday today with my aunt they both got hot turkey sandwiches with gravy which were really good I ordered a New York strip 12 oz medium rare which was medium and pretty tough and when we were getting our drinks my father had a Pepsi spilled into his lap by the way staff they were very apologetic. Paper towels to clean up the mess and everything I would assume that he would have gone offered a free dessert or some sort of discount considering it to sit there with soaking wet sticky pants the whole time but nothing was offered..

The waitress. Keira, was wonderful. Attentive and fast. Food was great.

Had the taco salad bowl it was good however when I asked for beef I received shredded instead of ground which I found strange.

I love going here! Their french onion soup is absolutely delicious. I get it every time I go!

Excellent food and service. Staff was down 2 because of a local flu problem, but the wait was worth it.

Had breakfast here on the way home from camping. Quick service and eggs were good. Very good prices. No complaints.

I had the Patty Melt which was basically a Rueben with ground beef instead of corned beef and it was very good. The kids with us had pancakes which were HUGE and tasted like a literal cake cooked in a pan. Everyone had to try a slice when the kids couldn't finish them and everyone liked them. Great place we just happened to visit after visiting The Wild Center.

Mother's Day and our waitress clearly did not want to be there. She was very short with us and ignored us for the most of the time- had to ask for more water, more napkins, never stopped to ask do we want more drinks, etc. Apparent owner/manager ignored us as well. Food was OK, but really should we have had to ask for au jus with prime rib? Never mentioned that baked potato was an option, so was served brown gray from a jar with mashed potatoes. Had to ask for the dessert that was included with our meal. Very disappointed! Will not be back.

The food is excellent. They have take-out and delivery and dining in started this week.

They burnt spaghetti noodles, not overcooked but actually burnt like baked in the oven too long. Why is pasta being baked in the oven. To top it odd this place gave me food poison. Will neve go here again

The food was not that good. Group of 11, everyones food was darker then the photos. We got our food while uncle was waiting for his. Daughters food (chicken parm) was put all together and put in the oven. So she had burnt noodles.

We had 8 people, and we were seated and served promptly! Food was tasty and they accommodated special requests cheerfully!

Very nice little place on Main Street in Tupper Lake. Its on the West End and if you are coming in from the west it is pretty hard to see until you are past it. Food is good, homecooked local fare. And just about a bit of everything, pizza...check, burgers...check, roast turkey...check, you name it they have it on the menu. Despite what other reviews said, I think the prices were great. $8 for a burger or clubhouse. Haddock fillet that was so big there is no way one person could finish it and the selection of pies for desert was endless. I would give it five stars but the building is looking a little rough around the edges and bathrooms could use a little attention. Service was excellent, server was quick, knowlegable and attentive. Food was fresh, hot and tasty.

Nice little restaurant, decent selection of menu items, but not overwhelming. There seems to be a lot of deep fried items on the menu, which I'm not crazy about. But I have had good meals here. I like to get what I call "The Three Frenchmen" it's a French Dip with French Fries and a cup of French Onion Soup. The French onion soup here is one of the best french onion soups I've ever had. I have had items I didn't care for, but locals usually have nothing but praise for the staff, atmosphere, and food. Worth stopping in, if you're passing by.

Very good service as always. But I'm appalled at the prices of stuff when it's not good/tasty enough to be so expensive. Although i will say, their french onion soup is the bomb.

Great find. Loved the beautiful attention to the flowers around the building. This great attention to detail continued inside with delicious food. Mostly homemade items and very fresh. Definitely recommend it.

Very cute place for a nice lunch with family. Only 2 issues...when asking what i could have besides the potato chips as my side, I chose mashed potatoes as one of the suggested items. I was then charged $3 for them. My parents both ordered desserts, and the delicious looking slices of pie ala mode were brought out cold. Warm pie with ice cream was what they thought they were getting. Nothing earth shattering, but wanted to give feedback.
